Starvis is a new generation low light technology developed by Sony, Sony has released a series of HD CMOS image sensor supported with Starvis technology and DOL WDR. Here we introduce you the IP camera solution that leveraging Sony Starvis CMOS sensors. Compared with traditional security cameras, the Starvis CMOS sensor powered security cameras is able to deliver full color image without using artificial illumination (Infrared lighting/white lighting) under low light conditions. The sensitivity of Starvis CMOS image sensor is two times higher than conventional CMOS image sensors. 

As the name implies, starlight series camera is an ideal device for low light condition monitoring with its 0.005Lux/ F1.65 (Color) of light- illumination. The camera features 2-megapixel, 1/1.9”progressivescan CMOS image sensor for capturing full color images, as well as supports up to maximum 50/60fps@1080P encoding. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) features 120dB and offers high performance in extremely bright, dark areas or in backlight.
